Hubungan tingkat kebutuhan perawatan ortodonti menggunakan index of orthodontic treatment need (iotn) dengan dental aesthetic index (dai)

Background: Malocclusion occurs due to a change in dimensions from primary teeth permanent teeth. The most common malocclusion children aged 9-11 years is caused by the eruption of canines and second premolars, requiring orthodontic treatment. To be able determine level need for treatment, an index needed, one which Index Of Orthodontic Treatment Need (IOTN) Dental Aesthetic (DAI). clinic at RSGM-P FKG Trisakti University that performs interceptive treatment mixed dentition period. aim this study was correlation between using (DAI) on patients University. Methods: research method used analytic observational with cross-sectional design. Results: results based Spearman's rho test, obtained significance value 0.905 (sig <0.05), strength relationship 0.023 means very weak variables. Conclusion: So it can concluded there no significant IOTN DAI
